Where are meetings held?

Either at our offices, over Zoom or Teams, or by special arrangement at your home.

Do you have parking?

Yes, we have one client parking space directly outside the premises.

Are you independent?

Yes, we are fully independent financial advisers (IFAs).

Are you regulated?

Yes, we are Appointed Representatives of Midas Portal Ltd, who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). You can see Midas Portal Ltd’s entry on the FCA register here.

Can you advise on final salary/defined benefit transfers?

Whilst we carry the necessary qualifications to be able to provide such advice, we have taken the decision to refer on such cases to an external specialist defined benefit transfer team.

What happens if my Financial Adviser is away on holiday?

We operate as a team and our authorised IFAs are able to provide locum cover as and when required to their colleagues.

What do you charge for a financial plan?

We tailor our financial plans to your needs and each initial financial plan or strategy is bespoke. An initial Strategic Financial Planning report would be priced based on the complexity and work involved and are priced between the range of £1,500 and £5,000. Do you take a percentage or are your fees fixed?

We will take an initial fixed fee in order to conduct a full review of your circumstances and to create an initial financial plan. Should you wish to proceed to implementing our recommendations and setting up any new investment plans we charge a 2% implementation fee on investments up to £1,000,000. For new implementation fees on funds in excess of £1,000,000 the initial fee is negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

We additionally charge an on-going adviser fee of 0.75% of assets under management.

Do you charge VAT?

We are not currently required to charge VAT on our fees as financial intermediaries.
